With a durable, full-grain leather upper, this boot is suited for military service, but can handle the rigors of any field of work. The Vibram Ibex outsole is engineered to traverse rocky, uneven mountainous terrain with ease, thanks to a unique, multi-directional lug pattern that maintains traction in any conditions. Every Tactical Research boot is built with the TR-1 orthotic insole, which is rigid enough to reduce arch fatigue, but comfortable enough for long periods of wear. A critical component of any tactical boot is the heel cup, which is built in atop the midsole to stop ankle injuries and maintain a secure, stable fit. The hydrophilic lining wicks away excess moisture and pumps heat out of the boot, while the padded tongue adds comfort. This model features a side zipper for convenient removal.
